My love for animals!

Hello! My name is Vanessa, I am 22 years old and just moved to Berlin. I currently work as nanny, I love kids and animals, I believe pets are like children that we must love and take care of. It does me really good to spent time with an animal, it is relaxing and I could spent long hours just petting them, taking for a walk, playing. At the moment I can not have any pets so I thought that would be a nice idea to petsit so I can have the contact with animals again. My family always had pets such as dogs, bunnies, cats. But I am also open to take care of birds, turttles and any other pet. I was also petsitting a few times back in my home country, for friends that were traveling, will attach some pictures with them. I hope you will consider me to take care of your friend! I would love to help by walking your pet, dropping by to give some pets and food, also overnight stay. Unfortunately I can not host pets in my house!

Hallo liebe Katzenbesitzer, mein Name ist Sophie, ich bin 26 Jahre alt und komme aus dem schönen Berlin-Adlershof. In der Vergangenheit habe ich mich außerdem häufig um zahlreiche Katzen aus meiner Bekanntschaft gekümmert und auch über diverse Sitting-Foren habe ich seit Sommer 2020 einige Katzen-Freundschaften schließen dürfen. So hatte ich das große Glück, insgesamt über 60 verschiedene Katzen kennengelernt, betreut und in mein Herz geschlossen zu haben. Als euer Katzensitter bleibe ich gerne über Nacht oder schaue ein- bis zweimal täglich bei Euren Liebsten vorbei, je nachdem, wie viel Gesellschaft und Pflege, Spiel und Spaß erwünscht ist. Ich freue mich stets, neue Fellnasen und deren Besitzer kennenlernen zu dürfen, also beglückt mich jede neue Nachricht. :-) Ich bin immer bemüht, Euch so schnell wie möglich zu antworten. Meine Spezialität ist das Streicheln und Kraulen von Katzen, aber selbstverständlich kümmere ich mich auch um die kulinarische Verpflegung (und Verwöhnung mit Leckerlis) Deiner Kleinen, um ihre spielerische Unterhaltung (für gemeinsame Spielmäuse-Jagden statt langweiligen, einsamen Staubmäuse-Hetzen!) und um die Reinigung der Katzentoilette und Näpfe. Gerne gehe ich bei Bedarf auch mit Deiner Hauskatze raus ins Grüne, um ihr den gewünschten Auslauf zu geben oder kümmere mich um die Fellpflege. Auch für weitere Aufgaben rund um Eure Tiere bin ich offen, Hauptsache ist doch, dass Eure Lieben gesund bleiben und sich bei Euch daheim pudelwohl fühlen, während ihr sorgenfrei Euren Urlaub genießen könnt. Gerne übernehme ich ebenfalls kleine Haushaltsaufgaben, z.B. kümmere ich mich bei Wunsch um das Entsorgen des Hausmülls, das Gießen der Pflanzen, das Durchlüften und Saugen der Wohnung oder das Leeren des Briefkastens. Solltet ihr Kleintiere besitzen, sorge ich mich gerne auch um diese. Ich bin gut erreichbar per Whatsapp, Telegram oder per E-Mail und sende Euch gerne täglich Fotos und Neuigkeiten von Euren Lieblingen. Ich stelle mich Euch außerdem gerne in einem Telefongespräch oder persönlichen Treffen vor, bevor ich Euren Samtpfoten begegne. Ich habe erstmalig einen Katzensitter gebucht und direkt einen echten Glücksgriff gelandet. :-) Sophie hat sich 5 Tage liebevoll um Lucie & Lonnie (+ Blumen ;-)) gekümmert. Die Kommunikation lief sowohl im Vorfeld als auch während meiner Abwesenheit super. Meinen Urlaub konnte ich sorgenfrei genießen denn durch Updates und Fotos hatte ich immer ein sicheres Gefühl, dass die zwei gut aufgehoben sind. I will care for your pet with my whole heart!

There was few reasons why I started pet sitting, one of the most important was that my love and care for them. After I moved to Germany, I released that it would be extremely difficult for me to have a pet. That's why I decided to stay connected to them, while having side hustle. To tell you bit about my experience with pets, it starts from my childhood, when my parents first brought my first dog Toto home. Two years ago we got another dog. I took care of her every day before I moved to Berlin, starting from cuddling with her, teaching her tricks, taking her out, finishing with giving her a bath. In Germany my wife, Milly, and I took care of different breeds of dogs and cats together. She is an animal psychologist and shares the same passion for animals as I do. However, whenever she had no time, because of the university, I was the one taking care of them, which I enjoyed. I can say that I’m very caring, responsible, patient, and punctual. I love taking dogs to the park, playing with them, or simply being there to meet their needs. Most importantly, I’m very attentive and responsive to their individual personalities and requirements. As I mentioned, I’m a big pet fan and I would do anything to make them feel comfortable. I learn quickly, so whatever is the need of your pet, I’m here to hear it and do it exactly they need it. If they need certain medication, I will give it to them like they’re used to. I’m glad to do and not do whatever the pet and owner feels comfortable with. My typical day with a certain dog is different, however the goal is to make have fun together. For active dogs, I love playing games like fetch, chase, or hide-and-seek with toys or treats. I would go for walks or even short runs. For calmer or older pets, I enjoy slow walks, or just spending quiet time together. Some pets just want company. If the pet enjoys learning, I can also spend time teaching them fun little tricks or practicing ones they already know. And of course, playtime always comes with lots of encouragement, affection, and treats if allowed.
