There was few reasons why I started pet sitting, one of the most important was that my love and care for them. After I moved to Germany, I released that it would be extremely difficult for me to have a pet. That's why I decided to stay connected to them, while having side hustle. To tell you bit about my experience with pets, it starts from my childhood, when my parents first brought my first dog Toto home. Two years ago we got another dog. I took care of her every day before I moved to Berlin, starting from cuddling with her, teaching her tricks, taking her out, finishing with giving her a bath. In Germany my wife, Milly, and I took care of different breeds of dogs and cats together. She is an animal psychologist and shares the same passion for animals as I do. However, whenever she had no time, because of the university, I was the one taking care of them, which I enjoyed. I can say that I’m very caring, responsible, patient, and punctual. I love taking dogs to the park, playing with them, or simply being there to meet their needs. Most importantly, I’m very attentive and responsive to their individual personalities and requirements. As I mentioned, I’m a big pet fan and I would do anything to make them feel comfortable. I learn quickly, so whatever is the need of your pet, I’m here to hear it and do it exactly they need it. If they need certain medication, I will give it to them like they’re used to. I’m glad to do and not do whatever the pet and owner feels comfortable with. My typical day with a certain dog is different, however the goal is to make have fun together. For active dogs, I love playing games like fetch, chase, or hide-and-seek with toys or treats. I would go for walks or even short runs. For calmer or older pets, I enjoy slow walks, or just spending quiet time together. Some pets just want company. If the pet enjoys learning, I can also spend time teaching them fun little tricks or practicing ones they already know. And of course, playtime always comes with lots of encouragement, affection, and treats if allowed.
