I'm Floris, a Dutch guy living with my partner in Weissensee. I've grown up and lived in a household where dogs were ever-present for the better part of my life. Since a few years, my family back home in the Netherlands doesn't t own a dog anymore. But our neighbor there has two Schapendoezen (Dutch Sheepdogs), which I totally spoil whenever I go back — yes, they totally look like members of an 80's rock band posing for their new album cover.

After my move to Berlin, almost two years ago, the feeling of missing a furry companion in the house got stronger and stronger. Although my partner and I are not in a phase yet to fully commit to a dog of our own, we'd like to discover whether this platform is something for us. Ideally we'd have a dog that comes to visit us on a regular basis, to have some kind of bonding.
